Jan Morrison

Jan Morrison has been an adoptive parent for 25 years and has been a strong advocate for at-risk youth since her teens. She has previously served as a CASA volunteer for San Bernardino County. She is a retired Educator who has worked in the area of Special Education for almost 40 years. Her background and experiences have included that of a teacher in the classroom and in a school-wide Resource Program as well as a District-wide Program Specialist providing case management services for students PreK through Adult, coordinating and supporting site and district- programs. In addition to her work with CASA, She also serves her community as a Commissioner for the City, helps to share her Caribbean culture by promoting activities of written and spoken word through her connection with Cari-con.org and JCA. and recently joined the IENCNW in their fight for social justice. Traveling by train, cruising, listening to jazz with a good glass of wine, watching a great drama on stage, or listening to a good story speak volumes to her spirit and peace of mind.
